EMEA Recruitment is delighted to be partnering again with an exciting business as it looks to recruit a Payroll Specialist into its Basel office.
As the Payroll Specialist, you will report directly into the Director of Payroll and be responsible for providing timely and accurate payroll for the Swiss entity and the management of third-party payroll providers.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Keep all systems updated and organised to effectively manage all payroll information
Coordinate payroll accounting and support monthly payroll and year-end process
Work with external vendors to produce compliant year-end statements
Maintain and update the HRIS and other HR-related databases
Act as a point of contact for employees and external parties on payroll queries
Support on a range of HR projects
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience working in a similar role
Sound working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage
Fluent in English and German (essential) - other languages are a plus
Technically strong with IT systems (proficiency in Excel is a must)
Agile attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
