EMEA Recruitment is working with a purpose-driven, international organization that seeks a Payroll Officer for their European region.

As the Payroll Officer, you’ll join a small and welcoming HR team who are looking for a proactive and service-oriented individual to join them.

You’ll handle every aspect of the payroll process, working closely with employees to ensure their needs are met.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Officer:
  • Act as a point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and managers
  • Process in-house monthly payroll for the Netherlands
  • Support payroll activities for other EU countries, in collaboration with external providers
  • Administer pensions, insurance schemes, and other employee benefits, ensuring accurate processing and employee support
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Experience required:
  • Proven experience in inhouse payroll management, with a strong understanding of Dutch payroll systems and regulations
  • Familiarity with pensions and employee benefits administration
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is advantageous
  • Proactive, self-starter attitude with strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively outside the box
