EMEA Recruitment is delighted to support a market-leading international business in the retail industry looking to add an FP&A Analyst to its finance team.

Our client is on a mission to become the No.1 brand in the world within its sector. The business aims to achieve this by building a world-class Financial Planning and Analysis team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Support: Ensure submissions follow guidelines, manage outputs with the FP&A team, and improve the accuracy of financial plans
  • Forecast Consolidation: Consolidate regional quarterly forecasts and latest estimates, interpret outlooks, and advise on risks and opportunities
  • Expense Forecasting and Control: Forecast regional corporate expenses, and partner with stakeholders to provide robust assumptions and tracking tools
  • Month-End Close and Variance Analysis: Support accruals and prepayments, validate actual results, prepare variance analysis, and assist with ad-hoc financial requests

Key Requirements:
  • Educational and Professional Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields with 2-4 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Accounting
  • Technical Skills: Strong P&L knowledge, understanding of local and US GAAP, proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and various financial analyses; experience with BPC, SAP, Hyperion, or Cognos preferred
  • Analytical and Strategic Abilities: Demonstrated balance of strategic and analytical skills, excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functionally, effective communication at all levels, and high integrity with a humble and driven attitude
