Job Description

Our client is a leading global industrial group, headquartered in the United States.

They are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Leader to manage payroll operations across multiple countries in the EMEA region.

The role involves partnering with HR, the finance department, and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant payroll management.

Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Consultant:
  • Oversee payroll preparation and processing for several EMEA countries
  • Monitor salary, role changes, and other employee-related updates
  • Manage general ledger journal entries for all payroll-related transactions
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations related to payroll
  • Act as a liaison with the treasury team and external banking partners
  • Support the internal audit team with SOX controls testing.
  • Manage tax and social security audits
  • Process payroll-related payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements
  • Lead payroll process improvement initiatives and system implementations

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing international payroll operations
  • Familiarity with payroll software systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to follow through on responsibilities
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
