Strategic Financial Analyst - Exclusive

Job Description

Due to our client's strategic business plans, they are currently looking to recruit a Strategic Financial Analyst for an exciting and challenging role based in Amsterdam.

As the Strategic Financial Analyst, you will report to the Head of Finance and have several key stakeholder responsibilities both internally and externally. For this reason, our client is looking for someone who thinks “outside the box”.

The position is seen as highly value-adding and sits within a newly established, small finance department. You will also have contact with the Management team regularly in this very “hands-on” role.

Key Responsibilities of the Strategic Financial Analyst:

• Monitor and report on financial and operational results
• Provide financial insights to support informed business decisions
• Prepare Analysis and Variance Reporting
• Handle tax matters, including transfer pricing, VAT, and withholding tax
• Analyze financial performance across the company and identify trends, patterns and areas of improvement.
• Working closely with management on key business issues

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA, CIMA or similar certification is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a manufacturing company
• Understanding of tax-related topics
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
• Ability to work in the office at least three days a week
