EMEA Recruitment is delighted to exclusively partner with a global and leading US-based manufacturer in their search for a Senior Accountant.

The Senior Accountant will maintain a good record of accountancy for their Finnish entity, whilst working closely with their external payroll provider.

The successful Senior Accountant will receive opportunities for development and progression, along with an attractive salary, bonus, and benefits package.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Support the financial statements consolidation activities
• Perform monthly and quarterly close activities under US GAAP reporting requirements
• Assist with different tax filings
• Participate in statutory audits with the Finance Manager
• Act as a main point of contact with the local payroll provider

Experience required:

• Bachelor's/Master's in Finance/Accounting/Economics or similar
• 3-5 years of experience in a relevant Accounting/Audit role
• Exposure to payroll activities
• Fluent in English and Finnish (mandatory)
• SAP knowledge and Excel skills is a plus
