EMEA Recruitment is working with our international client in its search for a Financial Controller to join their team in the Amsterdam area.In this role, you will help set up controlling for the newly acquired entity in close collaboration with the CFO and provide ad-hoc support to the Finance team.
The Financial Controller will help prepare month end and quarter end closing activities regarding projects (i.e. risk analysis, accruals, margin analysis).
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for accuracy, and strong communication skills.
Your responsibilities as the Financial Controller:
- Support project leaders with project controlling related activities
- Assist in the migration of the newly acquired entity
- Assist in preparing Best Estimates and Budgets with regard to orders, revenue, direct costs and forecasted gross margin;
- Ad hoc support to Finance team colleagues and CFO Netherlands
Experience required:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Extensive experience with ERP systems
- Effective communication and social skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
