Controlling Manager

Job Description

EMEA Recruitment is seeking a Controlling Manager, on behalf of our client, a manufacturing business in Amsterdam.

The Controlling Manager is responsible for tracking, monitoring and evaluating day-to-day accounting tasks and activities, which is essential to the company's success.

For the Controlling Manager, they will have the opportunity to manage a small team, whilst also receiving further opportunities to self-develop and progress.

Responsibilities of the Controlling Manager:

• Responsible for all accounting matters including all branches and consolidation
• Reviewing monthly, quarterly, yearly closing activities done by Accountants
• Manage the relationship with the statutory auditors for the Dutch entity
• Manage and execute all compliance requirements with internal controls
• Directly managing the Accountants

Experience required:

• Master's/Bachelor's in Accounting or similar
• 5+ years' experience in a Big 4 accounting firm
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Good analytical, communicative and social skills
