Are you an experienced Data Architect or Data Engineer with a strong background in data integration and IT architecture?
Our client, a leading player in its industry, is introducing its first fully-fledged IT function as part of its evolution into an independent and self-supporting enterprise.
As Data Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of IT systems, enabling comprehensive data provision across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities of the Data Architect:
Develop and implement a forward-looking integration roadmap
Design and implement secure APIs/EDI connections, data pipelines, and other data exchange solutions
Run unit/integration tests, maintaining a system integration and data engineering register
Understand and ensure the availability of data for analysis
Collaborate with Data Developers and business teams
Implement systems and processes to monitor data quality
System architecture design, guiding development
Lead data science, machine learning, and AI projects
Inter-system data flow, system interoperability, and advanced data science tools.
Ideal Profile:
3+ years of experience implementing and supporting APIs/EDI connections, MDM solutions, data warehouses, and data lakes. Experience with Snowflake and Azure Data Factory is a plus
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C++, etc.)
Strong working knowledge of SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle databases
Process-oriented with excellent documentation capabilities.
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
