EMEA Recruitment is searching for an HR & Payroll Specialist to join our client, a leader in FMCG and an expert in their field. 

As the HR & Payroll Specialist, you’ll manage HR administration and employee lifecycle processes and act as the key contact for payroll, which is processed by a third-party provider.

With an understanding of Swiss Labor laws, you will also provide HR and Payroll advisory and support to all aspects of people and culture.

As the payroll services are completed by a third party, you will ensure accuracy and timely entry for employees in Switzerland and the DACH region. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee HR operations, from onboarding new hires to offboarding leavers
• Ensure accurate payroll data submission to our external provider and internal systems are maintained
• Support compliance with Swiss labor laws and HR policies, keeping up to date with local legislation
• Act as the go-to person for employee HR & payroll queries
• Recommend and implement changes for efficiency in the HR & Payroll Process

Candidate Profile:

• Strong HR Operations and Payroll coordination experience
• Knowledge of Swiss labor law and social security regulations
• Fluent in German & English
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset

• Manage Tax Compliance Projects – Oversee local and international tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, and wage tax filings
• Stakeholder Coordination – Act as the primary contact for tax authorities, clients, and advisors
• Department Development – Ensure compliance with local guidelines and quality standards while growing and improving the tax compliance function

• Key Skills & Attributes – Strong analytical, client-oriented mindset with a results-driven approach. Able to work with both local and international teams
• Experience – At least 3 years in tax compliance (mainly corporate income tax) at a large tax advisory firm or multinational
• Education & Language – Master\'s degree in Tax Law or Fiscal Economics; fluent in Dutch and English

• Manage the end-to-end assignment process for a portfolio of international assignments
• Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations
• Provide advice and guidance on international tax obligations ensuring compliance with tax regulations for globally mobile employees
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and 3rd party external partners
• Ensure policies and processes are compliant with immigration, social security and tax requirements.
• Explain cost estimates and assignment packages, conduct briefings with international workers.
• Maintain knowledge of international mobility developments
• Lead and participate in Global Mobility & Compensation team projects

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a complex international service-oriented environment
• Strong knowledge of tax and immigration regulations for mobile workers within Europe
• Strong experience working with different stakeholders at all levels and multiple countries
• Fluent in English
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
