Your Key Responsibilities as the Logistics Procurement Category Manager:

• Manage contracts and relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure alignment with company goals and performance standards
• Lead tenders for logistics categories, engaging relevant stakeholders and securing optimal terms and conditions
• Conduct market research, analyze data, and negotiate agreements to maximize cost efficiency and finalize favorable contracts
• Monitor service provider performance, market trends, and regulatory changes to maintain compliance and service quality
• Contribute expertise to strategic projects (e.g., footprint analysis, cost efficiency initiatives) and implement best purchasing practices

About You:

• 6+ years in transportation sourcing or purchasing, with a focus on Indirect Spend
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; project management experience preferred
• Strong skills in negotiation, supplier management, and procurement
• Analytical abilities with a proven track record in cost analysis, budgeting, and reporting
• Fluent in English
• Experience with e-procurement platforms and logistics systems is an asset

This role will handle various essential tasks, including drafting tender documents, estimating costs and savings across categories, managing product and pricing data, and conducting relevant analyses.

The Buyer Indirect will oversee logistics and monitor inventory to ensure smooth operations and report to the Senior Purchasing Manager.

Key Responsibilities of the Buyer Indirects:

• Project and analyse expenditures and cost-saving opportunities for each category (Uniforms etc.)
• Keep item specifications and purchasing data up-to-date
• Help manage supplier performance, addressing quality issues, stock availability, and other service aspects
• Manage the procurement system, updating items, pricing, and logistical information as needed
• Regularly update prices in the system to reflect current market conditions
• Conduct various analytical tasks to support purchasing decisions
• Contribute to the preparation of updates for the Senior Management team

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Fluency in English, with basic German skills as a plus
• Some work experience, ideally from internships or part-time roles
• Strong interest in building a career in Supply Chain or Procurement
• Self-driven with a positive, solution-oriented approach
• Excellent analytical abilities and adaptability in a dynamic workplace

Your key responsibilities as an Indirect Purchasing Specialist:

• Acting in the indirect spend area, focusing on both short-term and long-term opportunities (strategic sourcing)
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Actively seeking opportunities to reduce costs & improve efficiency
• Collaborating with the business to develop strategies and tactics that provide the company with a competitive advantage in technology or cost
• Performing operational procurement tasks
• Managing contracts, driving contract and price negotiations, and preparing and conducting tenders for the categories in scope
• Supporting the local implementation of global initiatives and the Coupa system

About you:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position (Indirect Procurement)
• Fluency in English and Dutch (min. B2/C1 level)
• Advanced Excel skills, and SAP tool experience
• Excellent purchasing skills (negotiations, stakeholder management etc.)
• University degree or training relevant to procurement would be an advantage
• Coupa Source-to-Pay experience would be beneficial

• Manage all indirect spend (Opex and Capex), focusing on short-term cost-saving opportunities through spot-buy reductions and long-term improvements via strategic sourcing activities
• Represent the Sourcing Department in both technical and non-technical indirect spend, promoting procurement practices and highlighting the added value sourcing brings to the business
• Act as a go-to expert on purchasing processes, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and customers
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships aimed at cost reduction and inefficiency elimination throughout the procurement cycle, and alignment with the company’s core values.
• Conduct market analysis to identify supplier optimization opportunities in line with company sourcing policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies and tactics that give a competitive edge in technology and cost efficiency

About You:

• 3-5 years of experience in indirect spend
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel), SAP, or Maximo
• Fluent in English (B2 level or higher)
• Strong understanding of purchasing processes
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
